General Situation

The moderate monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the Central, the East and the lower Northeast of Thailand into the low-pressure cell over the coast of southern Vietnam. Meanwhile, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the upper Andaman Sea, Thailand and the upper Gulf of Thailand. Continuous rainfalls are likely in the country. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the lower North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the South while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the East. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. For the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers while the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf has waves 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore.

Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Kalasin, Nakhon Phanom, Mahasarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Mukdahan, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Variable winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Lopburi, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Variable winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and in thundershowers more than 3 meters.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan and Chumphon. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Surat Thani northwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat southwards: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phangnga and Phuket. Minimum temperature 23-24 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Phangnga upwards : Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and more than 3 meters in thundershowers. Phuket downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 26-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
