During 24 - 30 July 2023
During 24 - 25 Jul, the moderate monsoon trough lies across the North, the Northeast and the Central. Continuous rainfalls and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the East. During 26 - 28 Jul, the monsoon trough will move up to lie across Myanmar, upper Laos and upper Vietnam. At the same time, the low-pressure cell covers the coast of upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. Less rains and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the East and the South (west coast). During 29 - 30 Jul, monsoon trough will move down to lie across the upper North and the upper Norteast with more rain in the areas. In addition, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the upper Andaman Sea, the South and the upper Gulf throughout the period with 2 - 3 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while 1 - 2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Typhoon ?Doksuri? over the east of the Philippines is expected to move to the upper South China Sea during 26 - 27 Jul. During 28 - 29 Jul, this storm is forecast to make landfall over the southeastern China.
Caution
People in Thailand should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially, along water ways and lowland. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman and the upper Gulf keep ashore throughout the period.

Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains throughout the period. Surat Thani upward: southwesterly winds 20 - 35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: southwesterly winds 15 - 35 km/hr. Wave height 1 - 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Minimum temperature 23 - 27 C. Maximum temperature 30 - 36 C.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains throughout the period. Phangnga upward: southwesterly winds 20 - 40 km/hr.
