General Situation

The moderate monsoon trough lies across Myanmar the upper North and Laos. Meanwhile, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the upper Andaman Sea, Thailand and the upper Gulf of Thailand. Continuous rainfalls are likely in the country. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the Northeast, the Central the East and the South (west-coast). People should beware of accumulated rains that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. For the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers while the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf has waves 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore. Typhoon ?Doksuri? over the east of the Philippines is expected to move to the upper South China Sea during 26 ? 27 Jul. During 28 ? 29 Jul, this storm is forecast to make landfall over the southeastern China. People should follow weather informations before travel in these areas.

Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Khon Kaen, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C. Variable winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Lopburi and Saraburi. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and in thundershowers more than 3 meters.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Surat Thani northwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat southwards: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong and Phangnga. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Phangnga upwards : Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and more than 3 meters in thundershowers. Phuket downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
