General Situation

The moderate southwest monsoon prevailing across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is weakening while the low-pressure cell remains over upper Vietnam. Less rain is likely in the country and remain isolated heavy rains are possible in the North and the South (west coast). People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlards. In the Andaman Sea and the Gulf has waves 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, severe tropical storm ?KHANUN? is expected to make landfall over the Korea Peninsula by today (10 August 2023).

Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom and Mukdahan. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket and Krabi. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 26-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
