General Situation

The weakening southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, and the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam and Tonkin Bay. Less rain is likely in the country and isolated heavy rains remains possible in the South (west coast). In the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, waves are 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, tropical depression KHANUN covers Korean Peninsula while Typhoon LAN will make landfalls over the coast of Japan on 14 and 15 August.

Central
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 36-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-37 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-32 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 26-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
