General Situation

The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf. Meanwhile, the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and Tonkin bay. Isolated heavy is likely in the Central and the South (east coast) while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South (west coast). People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially, along water ways and lowland and take more caution in thundershowers. The strengthening wind forces the wave up to 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while the waves in the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore. In addition, storm ?LAN? has made landfall over southern Japan and downgraded to severer tropical storm already.

Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Nong Khai, Udon Thani, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom and Mukdahan. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 26-29 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and more than 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Surat Thani upwards : southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 metres in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 metres in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-30 C. Phuket upwards: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and more than 3 meters in thundershowers. Krabi downwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers mostly in the afternoon to evening. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
