General Situation

The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Meanwhile, the weak monsoon trough lies across upper Myanmar and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam. Thundershowers are likely in the country and isolated heavy rains are likely in the North and the Central while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the South (west coast). People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially, along water ways and lowland and take more caution in thundershowers. The weakening wind forces the wave in the Andaman Sea about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves has 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nan, Lamphun, Tak and Kamphaeng Phet. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Sisaket, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C. Surat Thani upwards : southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 metres in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1 - 2 metres in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 26-31 C. Phuket upwards : Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Krabi downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1 - 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers mostly in the afternoon to evening. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
