General Situation

The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam. Thundershowers are likely in the country and also isolated heavy rains are possible in the East. People should beware of the severe conditons. The moderate wind forces the wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, waves are 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Isolated thundershowers mostly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nan, Phayao, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram, Lop Buri, Saraburi and Nakhon Pathom. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 35-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Surat Thani upwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 metres in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1 - 2 metres in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains mostly in Ranong, Phangnga and Phuket. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1 - 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers mostly in afternoon to evening. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
