General Situation

The monsoon trough lie across the North and the Northeast into the low pressure cell over central Vietnam while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf. With above conditions, it is expected to have more rains over the country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in some places. People should beware of heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially, along water ways and lowland. For the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the moderate wind forces the waves 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Suphanburi, Samut Songkhram, Lopburi, Nakhon Sawan, Saraburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Minimum temperature 26-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C. Surat Thani upwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 metres in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 metres in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phangnga, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 27-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
