General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand into the low-pressure cell over southern China. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the lower Northeast, the Central, the East, the South and the Gulf. Thundershowers and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The moderate winds forces the waves in the upper Gulf up to about 2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves has 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lampang, Nan, Uttaradit, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Sukhothai, Phichit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 29-34 C. Variable winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C. Variable winds 10-25 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Lopburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-28 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Yala and Narathiwat Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Surat Thani upwards: southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong and Phang Nga. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers
Bangkok Metropolitan
