During 14 ? 17 Sep, the strong monsoon trough will lie across the North, the Central and the Northeast of Thailand. Meanwhile, the moderated southwest monsoon prevails over the Andamana Sea, the South and the Gulf. In addition, the low-pressure cell over upper Viernam and the Gulf of Tonkin will move pass the monsoon trough that lie across upper Thailand during 15 ? 16 Sep. More rains and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East regions. The wind and wave in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers while the wave in the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf has about 1 meter high and 1 - 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 18 ? 20 Sep, the weakening monsoon trough lies across the North and the Northeast of Thailand. Meanwhile, the moderated southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf will weaken. Continuous rainfalls and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country. The wind and wave in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are about 1 meter high and 1 - 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
During 14 ? 17 Sep, people should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and its accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period
