General Situation

The active monsoon trough prevails across the North and the upper Northeast into the low-pressure cell over the Coast of upper Vietnam and Tonkin Bay. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf. Thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The moderate winds forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 27-32 C. Variable winds 10-25 km/hr.
Central
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Uthai Thani, Nakhon Sawan, Saraburi, Lopburi, Kanchanaburi, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 28-34 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Surat Thani upwards: southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Phangnga upwards: southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Phuket downwards: southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
