Thailand Daily Weather Forecast General Situation 18 September 2023 The moderate monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand into the low-pressure cell over the coast of Vietnam. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the lower Northeast, the Central, the East, the South and the Gulf. Continuous rainfalls are likely in the country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast and the Central including Bangkok and it vicinity. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The moderate winds and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the wave has about 1 meter high and 1-2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 ?C. Maximum temperature 32-35 ?C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-25 ?C. Maximum temperature 31-34 ?C. Ranong upwards : southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Phangnga downwards : southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers.
