General Situation

The moderate monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the upper Central and the Northeast into an active low-pressure cell over middle Vietnam. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon prevailing across the Andaman Sea, the lower Central, the East, the South and the Gulf is strengthening. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South (east coast) regions while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast and the South(west coast). People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transports take more caution. The strengthening wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. For the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf, waves are about 2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore. In addition, the tropical depression has downgraded to an active low-pressure cell over Danang Province, Vietnam. It is expected to move pass the monsoon trough that lies across upper Thailand during 26 ? 29 September 2023. Scattered heavy rains to isolated very heavy rains are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South regions.

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains with gusty wind in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 26-31 C. Variable winds 10-25 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Lopburi and Saraburi. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Variable winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phatthalung. Minimum temperature 23-24 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Surat Thani upwards : Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 28-30 C. Phuket upwards : Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and more than 3 meters in thundershowers. Krabi downwards : Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
