Thailand Daily Weather Forecast
General Situation
29 September 2023
The active monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the upper Central and the Northeast. Meanwhile, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the Central, the East, the South and the Gulf. Heavy rains are likely much of the North, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East, the Northeast and the South, and all those regions are filled with some very heavy rains. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transport takes more caution. In the upper Andaman Sea, the strengthening wind forces waves likely 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. The lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf have waves about 2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
