During 3 ? 5 Oct, the monsoon trough lies across the upper country. Meanwhile, the low pressure cell over the middle of Vietnam will move into the East, the upper Gulf and the lower Central along the monsoon trough. The southwest monsoon prevailing across the Andaman Sea the South and the Gulf will be strengthen. More rain is likely in the country with heavy to very heavy rains in some places. The wind and wave in the Andaman Sea are 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers. During 6 ? 9 Oct, the monsoon trough will move up to lie across the North and the Northeast. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will be strengthened. Continuous rain and isolated heavy rain are likely in the country while more rain is forecast in the North and the Northeast. Typhoon ?KOINU? over the Philippines is likely to move into the South China Sea during 5 ? 6 Oct. It is expected to make landfall over the southeast of China during 7 ? 8 Oct. This storm has no direct effect on Thailand.
Caution
People in the lower Northeast, the lower Central, the East and the South should beware of gusty winds and heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
