General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the upper Central and the lower Northeast into the low-pressure cell over the Central region. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon remains across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. This cause isolated heavy rains over the country. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transport take more caution. In the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves are likely 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, Typhoon KOINU in the Pacific is likely to move through the Republic of China (Taiwan) on 4 and 5 October. It will move close to the southeastern coast of China from 6 to 8 October and then weaken. This storm does not directly affect Thailand?s weather.

Central
Fairy widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Ratchaburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C. Variable winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Variable winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thmmarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla and Yala. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Variable winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-34 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairy widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-33 C. Variable winds 10-20 km/hr.
