General Situation

The high-pressure system covers the North, the Northeast and the central part of Thailand. While the moderate monsoon trough lies across the upper South, the Gulf and the East into tropical depression over the middle South China Sea. At the same time, the southwest monsoon remains across the Andaman Sea, the lower South and the lower Gulf. Thundershowers are likely in the country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the South. People in the South should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transport take more caution. The waves in the Andaman and the Gulf Sea are likely about 1 meter high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Inaddition, Tropical depression over the middle South China Sea area is expacted developed. This storm has no direct effect on Thailand?s weather.

Northeastern
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Amnat Charoen, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 21-24 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Northeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Easterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Prachuap Khiri Khan upwards : Variable winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Chumphon downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-31 C. Northwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Easterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
