General Situation

The high pressure system covers the North and Northeast with less rain while the moderate monsoon trough lies across the upper Sout, the upper Gulf, and the East regions. In addition, the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea. The lower southern region and the Gulf of Thailand. This causes isolated heavy rains in the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transport take more caution. The waves in the Andaman and the Gulf Sea are likely about 1 meter high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, tropical storm SANBA is moving into Tokin Bay with no direct effect on Thailand?s weather.

Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Easterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Prachuap Khiri Khan upwards : Variable winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Chumphon downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C. Northwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Isolated thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C. Easterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
