Thailand Daily Weather Forecast General Situation 20 October 2023 The high pressure system covers the North and Northeast with less rain while the moderate monsoon trough lies across the upper South, and the East regions. In addition, the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the lower southern region and the Gulf of Thailand. This causes isolated heavy rains in the East and the South (east coast). People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transport take more caution. The waves in the Andaman and the Gulf Sea are likely about 1 meter high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, tropical storm SANBA in the coast of the South China with no direct effect on Thailand?s weather.

Southern (West Coast)
