General Situation

The high-pressure system covering upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening with thundershower over the country. Meanwhile, the monsoon trough prevails across the Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf with isolated heavy rains in the South. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transport take more caution. The waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Tropical depression over the Bay of Bengal has developed to tropical cyclone ?HAMOON?. It is expected to move to the upper Bay of Bengal and make landfall over Bangladesh during 25?26 October 2023. This storm has no effect on Thailand.

Scattered thundershowers mostly in Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon and Nakhon Pathom. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Easterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Sa Kaeo, Prachinburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Surat Thani upwards : Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Variable winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Northwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 26-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Easterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
