General Situation

The weakening high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea while the easterly winds covers the lower Northeast, the East and the Gulf of Thailand, leading to isolated heavy rains over those areas. At the same time, the monsoon trough prevails across the upper South, and the southwest monsoon still covers the Andaman Sea, the lower South and the lower Gulf. Heavy rains are also possible in the South. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Tropical storm HAMOON over the upper part of Bengal Bay will make landfall over Bangladesh on 25 and 26 October. This storm has no effect on Thailand.

Central
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon and Nakhon Pathom. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Easterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains mostly in Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Surat Thani upwards : Variable winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Northwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Easterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
