During 8 - 11 Nov, the weakening high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea with morning fog. Meanwhile, the easterly wave brings the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower Northeast, the East, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the South with thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in the areas. During 12 - 14 Nov, another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to over upper Thailand. Thundershowers and isolated heavy rains with gust are likely in the upper country for the first period before less rains in the area. A decrease in temperature by 1 - 3 C is likely in the Northeast while a slightly decrease in temperature is likely in the North. During 8 - 11 Nov, the weak wind and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea are likely below 1 meter high and 1 - 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 12 - 14 Nov, the wind and waves in the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high while below 1 meter high in the Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
People in the upper country should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards and all transport take more caution. People in the South should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ship should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
