General Situation

The moderate high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Morning cool are likely in the North and the Northeast of Thailand while isolated thundershowers are possible in the Central and the East regions. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to cool weather. The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with isolated heavy rains in the South. People in the South should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The waves in the upper Gulf are likely 1-2 meters high, about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the wave about 1 meter high and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, during 16?19 November 2023, another strong high-pressure system from China will extend to Thailand. Thundershowers are likely in the upper country for the first period then a decrease in temperature with strong wind. A decrease in temperature by 5?7 C is likely in the Northeast , a decrease in 4-6 C is likely in the North while a decrease in 2?4 C in temperature is likely in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East.

Chumphon upwards : Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Surat Thani downwards : Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phang Nga, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
