During 17?19 Nov 2023, another strong high-pressure system from China covers the upper Thailand, causing cool to cold weather, strong wind, and a decrease in temperature. A decrease in temperature of 2-3 ?C is likely in the North and the Northeast, while a decrease in temperature of 1-2 ?C is likely in the Central, Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East.People in the upper country should beware of the severe condition by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards in the first period and keep healthy and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air. Farmers should prepare for crop?s damage. The rather northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated heavy to very heavy rains in the South. The waves in the Gulf are 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the wave about 1 meter high and above 2 meter high in thundershowers. People in the South should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. People along the Gulf shore should beware of inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Gulf keep ashore.
