General Situation

The moderate high-pressure system from China extend to upper Vietnam and upper Laos. It is expected to cover the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea by today (1 December 2023) while the easterly wind remains in the upper country. Isolated rain is expected in upper Thailand for the first few days before 1-3 C drop in temperature and strong wind will be likely in the Northeast while the temperature will be decrease 1-2C in the Central and the East regions. People in the upper country should keep healthy. Farmers should prepare for crop?s damage. The moderate strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with isolated heavy rains in the South. The moderate wind force the waves in the lower Gulf up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers while 1-2 meters high in the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves are about 1 meter high and 1-2 meters offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. People in the lower South should beware of heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution, keep off thundershowers.

Morning cool with strong wind and 1-2 C drop in temperature. Isolated rain mostly in Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 17-22 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. Cold on the mountain top: Minimum temperature 10-15 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Central
Morning cool with strong wind and 1-2 C drop in temperature. Isolated rain mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram. Minimum temperature 21-24 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Northeasterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
1-2 C drop in temperature with strong wind. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter, 1-2 meters offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 28-32 C. Surat Thani upward : northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downward : easterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phang Nga, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 29-32 C. Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter, 1-2 meters offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
A slightly drop in temperature with strong wind. Isolated light rain. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Northeasterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
