Isolated rains is expected in upper Thailand for the first few days before 1 - 3 C drop in temperature and strong wind will be likely in the Northeast while the temperature will be decrease 1 - 2 C in the North, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. During 5 ?7 Dec, the moderate high-pressure system covering upper Thailand will weaken with a slightly increase in temperature and morning fog in the upper country. Meanwhile, the easterly wind bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country. Isolated rains are likely in the North, the lower Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South throughout the period with thundershower and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the South during 1 ? 3 Dec. The moderate winds force the waves in the upper Gulf up to 1 - 2 meters high, about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf and above 2 meters in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the wave is likely about 1 meter high, 1 - 2 meters high offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 1 ? 5 Dec, the active low cell over the lower Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify to tropical cyclone, expected to make landfall over the east of India during 4 ? 5 Dec.
