During 20 ? 25 Dec, the another strong high-pressure system from China will extend to Thailand and the South China Sea with a decrease in temperature and strong wind in the country. A decrease in temperature by 5 ? 8 C is likely in the Northeast, 4 ? 6 C decrease in temperature is likely in the North and a decrease in temperature by 3 ? 5 C is likely in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East while a decrease in temperature by 2 ? 4 C is likely in the upper South. During 22 ? 25 Dec, the northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South will strengthen while an active low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea, is expected to move through the lower South, Malaysia and the lower Andaman Sea repspectively. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the lower South. The strong wind forces the waves in the Gulf up to about 2- 4 meters high and above 4 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves has about 2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
