General Situation

The strong high-pressure system extend to southern China, is extend to cover the upper Northeast of Thailand. A decrease in temperature and strong winds in the upper Thailand. Morning cool to cold in the Northeast and 1-3 C drop temperature while cool in the morning are likely in the North, the Central and the East regions and a slightly drop in temperature. People in the country should keep healthy due to cool to cold weather and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with isolated thundershowers in the South. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition the active low-pressure cell over the South of Philippines will move pass the Southern part of Thailand and Malaysia lead heavy to very heavy rains and is strengthening winds and waves in the lower South of Thailand during 22-25 December 2023.

Central
Morning cool and slightly drop in temperature with strong wind. Minimum temperature 21-23 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Eastern
Upper part : Morning cool and slightly drop in temperature with strong wind. Lower part : Partly Cloudy with strong winds. Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Surat Thani upward : Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meter in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downward : Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Partly cloudy with strong wind. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
