During 21 - 25 Dec, the another strong high-pressure system from China will extend to Thailand and the South China Sea causing cool to cold and a decrease in temperature with strong wind in the country. A decrease in temperature by 4 - 6 C is likely in the North, 3 - 5 C decrease in temperature is likely in the Northeast and a decrease in temperature by 2 - 4 C is likely in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the upper South. During 26 - 27 Dec, the high-pressure system which cover Thailand is weaken with morning cool to cold and increasing 2 - 4 C in temperature for the Northeast and 1 - 3 C for the another regions. On 21 Dec, The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with isolated thundershowers and heavy rains in the South. The wind and waves in the Gulf are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves has about 1 meter high, above 1 meters high in offshore. During 22 - 25 Dec, the northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South will strengthen while an active low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea, is expected to move through the lower South, Malaysia and the lower Andaman Sea repspectively. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the lower South. The strong wind forces the waves in the Gulf up to about 2- 4 meters high and above 4 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves has about 2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore. During 26 - 27 Dec, the northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South is weakening with isolated thundershowers and heavy rains. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the lower Gulf up to about 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves has 1 - 2 meters high, about 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.

People in the country should keep healthy due to cool to cold weather and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air throughout the period. During 22 - 27 Dec, People in the lower South should beware of heavy to very heavy rain and its accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows. People along the South (east coast) shore should beware of inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Gulf should keep ashore
