General Situation

The rather strong high-pressure system remains Thailand and the South China Sea with cool to cold weather and strong wind. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast, cold to very cold and isolated frost is forecast. The minimum temperature of the North mountaintops is in range of 4-11 C while the Northeast ranges by 6-11 C. People in the country should keep healthy due to cool to cold weather and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air. The strong northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South while an active low-pressure cell covers Sumatra Island and lower Andaman Sea. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the lower South. People in the lower South should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The strong wind forces the waves in the Gulf up to 2-4 meters high and above 4 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the wave has about 2 meters and above 2 meters offshore and above 3 meters in thundershowers. People along the South (east coast) shore should beware of inshore surges. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Gulf should keep ashore.

Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 22-25C. Maximum temperature 27-32 C. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters, above 2 meters offshore and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
