During 25 ? 26 Dec, the rather strong high-pressure system remains Thailand and the South China Sea causing cool to cold. The strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South while an active low-pressure cell cover Sumatra Island will move through the lower Andaman Sea, respectively. More rains and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the lower South. The strong wind forces the waves in the Gulf up to 2 - 4 meters high and above 4 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves have about 2 meters high and 2 - 3 meters high offshore and above 3 meters in thundershowers.. During 27 ? 31 Dec, the rather strong high-pressure system covering Thailand and the South China Sea will weaken with an increase in temperature and morning fog. Morning cool to cold is likely in the North and the Northeast while cool in the morning is likely in the rest regions except the South. The strong northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South will weaken with isolated heavy rains in the lower South.
