During 27 Dec 23 ? 01 Jan 24, the rather strong high-pressure system covering Thailand and the South China Sea will weaken with an increase in temperature and morning fog. Morning cool to cold remains in the North and the Northeast while cool in the morning is likely in the rest regions except the South. After that, another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to the North and the Northeast with decreasing temperature and strong winds. During 28 Dec 23 - 01 Jan 24, the strong northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South will weaken with isolated heavy rains in the lower South. The moderate wind forces the waves in the lower Gulf up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. After that, the strengthening wind and waves are likely 2 - 3 meters high in the lower Gulf and above 3 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
People should keep healthy due to chageable weather and all transport take more caution in poor visibility. Farmers should prepare for crop?s damage. During 28 ? 30 Dec 23, people in the lower South should beware of heavy rains and its accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows.
