General Situation

Another rather strong high pressure covers the Northeast, the upper Central and the East. Morning cool to cold with windy and 4-6 C decrease in the Northeast while morning cool with windy and 1-4 C decrease in the Central, Bangkok and vicinity and the East. People in the country should keep healthy due to cool to cold weather and beware of fire accidents due to strong winds and dry air. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South is strengthen with more rain and isolated heavy rain in the lower South. People in the lower South should beware of heavy rains and its accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows. People along the South (east coast) shore should beware of inshore surges. The rather strong wind and waves in the lower Gulf are 2?3 meters high and above 3 meter high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should keep ashore during 27 Jan 2024.

Central
Cool with windy and 1-3 C decrease in temperature. Minimum temperature 18-21 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Eastern
Cool with windy and 2-4 C decrease in temperature. Minimum temperature 19-24 C. Maximum temperature 29-32 C. Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Upper part: Cool with windy and 1-3 C decrease in temperature. Minimum temperature 20-23 C. Maximum temperature 29-32 C. Lower part: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-24 C. Maximum temperature 28-33 C. From Surat Thani upward: Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. From Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Northeasterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C. From Krabi upward: Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore. From Trang downward: Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Cool with windy and 1-3 C decrease in temperature. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
