Weather Outlook During 29 January ? 4 February 2024
During 30 Jan ? 4 Feb, the upper westerly winds prevail over the upper North causes cool to cold with a decrease in temperature. Meanwhile, the moderate high-pressure system which covers upper Thailand will weaken leading the easterly and southeasterly winds to bring the humidity from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand prevail over the upper country. Morning cool with light fog, an increase in temperature and isolated light rains are likely over upper Thailand. The moderate northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South will weaken with less rains and isolated thundershowers. The weakening wind and waves in the lower Gulf are 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In upper Gulf and the Andaman Sea, the wave has about 1 meter high, above 1 meter high in thundershowers and offshore.
Caution
People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weathers and all transport takes more caution in poor visibility. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
