The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand throughout the period while during 2 - 4 Feb, the westerly wind at high altitude prevails over the North with a decrease in temperatureby 1 - 2 C in the North and an increase in temperature by 1 - 2 C with morning fog are possible in the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. At the same time, the easterly and southeasterly winds bring the humidity from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to the Northeast, the East and the lower Central with isolated rains. During 5 - 8 Feb, the northwesterly wind at high altitude prevails over the upper country with a decrease in temperature. Meanwhile, the easterly and southeasterly winds still bring the humidity from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand prevail to the lower Northeast and the East regions with isolated rains. The weak northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South throughout the period with less rains and isolated thundershowers. The weak wind and waves in the lower Gulf are about 1 meter high and above 1 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf and the Andaman Sea, the waves are likely below 1 meter high and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
