During 6 - 8 Feb, The weak high-pressure system covers the North and the Northeast while the westerly wind at high altitude prevails over the North and the upper Northeast with cool to cold in the morning. At the same time, the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Northeast, the lower Central regions and the East regions with isolated thundershowers. During 9 - 12 Feb, the moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to over the eastern part of the North, the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea. Meanwhile, the easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Northeast, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the upper South regions. Isolated thundershowers and strong wind is likely in the upper country for the first period with 2 - 4 C drop in temperature with strong wind in the Northeast while 1 - 3C drop in temperature in the rest regions. During 6 - 9 Feb, the weak easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf and the South with less rains and isolated thundershowers. The weak wind and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea are likely below 1 meter high, about 1 meter high offshore and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. During 10 - 12 Feb, the northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South is strengthening with more rains and isolated heavy rains in the upper South. The moderate wind forces the wave in the lower Gulf up to about 2 meters high, 1 - 2 meters high in the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weathers and all transport takes more caution in poor visibility throughout the period. During 9 - 12 Feb, people in the upper country and the upper South beware of thundershowers with gust. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
