General Situation

The heat low pressure cell covers the upper country while the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the upper country. Day hot with haze and isolated thundershowers are likely in someplaces. People in the upper country should beware of severe conditions. The easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are moderate with 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf and Andaman Sea, the wave has about 1 meter high and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
During 1 - 3 Mar, the high-pressure system from China will extend to the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea along with the southerly and the southeasterly wind will prevail over the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central and the East while hot weather remains in the upper country. Isolated thunderstorms with gusty wind, hail and lightning strike are likely in some areas of upper Thailand.

Central
Day hot with haze. Isolated thundershower mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 36-38 C. Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot with haze. Isolated thundershower mostly in Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Chumphon upward : Southeasterly winds 15?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. Surat Thani downward : Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated light rains. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 35-38 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers and offshore.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot with haze. Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 26-27 C. Maximum temperature 35-37 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
