General Situation

The heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand with hot during the day. The high-pressure system from China covers the eastern Northeast and the South China Sea while the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the upper contry. Thunderstorms with gusty wind, hail and lightning strike are likely in some areas of in upper Thailand. People in the upper country should beware of condition by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are moderate with 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf and Andaman Sea, the wave has about 1 meter high and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Chumphon upward : Southeasterly winds 15?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. Surat Thani downward : Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
