General Situation

The heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand with hot to very hot and haze during the day in the country. Meanwhile, the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Northeast and the East regions with isolated thundershowers. People in the country should keep healthy due to hot to very hot weather and beware of severe conditions. The weak easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf and the South with isolated thundershowers in the lower South. The high-pressure system from China extend to southern China, is expected to cover the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea by tomorrow (8 Mar 2024). Meanwhile, the southerly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country where hot to very hot weather occurs. During 8-10 Mar, outbreaks of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorms, gusty wind and hail including lightning strike are likely in some areas of the upper country.

Day hot to very hot with haze. Isolated heavy rains mostly in Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 19-25 C. Maximum temperature 37-41 C. Southwesterly winds 10-15 km/hr.
Central
Day hot to very hot with haze. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 37-42 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot to very hot with haze. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Chunthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 34-40 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated light rains. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-38 C. Surat Thani upward : Southeasterly winds 10?30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downward : Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated light rains. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-37 C. Northwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers and offshore.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot to very hot with haze. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-40 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
