During 5 - 7 Apr, the heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand. Hot to very hot with haze during the day is likely in the country. Meanwhile, the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Northeast, the lower Central and the East regions with isolated thundershowers and gusty winds During 8 - 11 Apr, another high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea while the easterly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country where hot to very hot weather occurs. Outbreak of summer storm are possible following with thunderstorms, gusty wind and hail including lightning strike are expected in the Northeast at first, then will effect on the rest regions. During 5 - 9 Apr, The southeasterly wind prevails over the Gulf and the South while the northwesterly wind prevails over the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South. During 10 - 11 Apr, The easterly and southeasterly winds prevailing over the Gulf and the South will strengthen with isolated thundershowers. The waves in the lower Gulf is likely 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf and the Andaman Sea, the waves have about 1 meter high and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Caution
People in the upper country should keep healthy due to hot to very hot weather throughout the period. During 8 - 11 Mar, people in the upper country should stay safe from severe weather conditions by keeping off outdoor places, large trees and unsecured buildings. Farmers should prevent for crops damage and animals danger. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
