General Situation

The heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand with hot to very hot and haze during the day. People in the country should keep healthy due to hot to very hot weather. The westerly trough from covers the upper North while the southwesterly and southerly winds prevail over the upper country with isolated thundershower with gusty wind and hails. People in the areas should beware of severe conditions. The northwesterly wind prevails over the Andaman Sea while the southeasterly wind prevails over the Gulf and the South with isolated thundershower. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, during 3?5 May 2024, the westerly trough move pass the upper North and the upper Northeast of Thailand while during 6?7 May 2024, the confluence of southeasterly and southerly winds prevail over the Northeast, the East, the Central and the lower North regions while hot to very hot weather occurs in the upper country. Summer storms are possible following with thunderstorms, gusty wind and lightning strike in many places of the upper country while hails are possible in some places.

Northern

Isolated thunderstorms with gusty wind and hails mostly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-29 C. Maximum temperature 38-42 C. Southwesterly winds 5-15 km/hr.
Northeastern
Day hot to very hot with haze. Isolated thunderstorms with gusty wind and hails mostly in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Nakhon Ratchasima and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 24-29 C. Maximum temperature 39-43 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Day hot to very hot with haze. Isolated thunderstorms with gusty wind mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani and Kanchanaburi. Minimum temperature 27-29 C. Maximum temperature 37-42 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot to very hot with haze. Isolated very hot. Isolated thundershowers with gusty wind mostly in Prachinburi, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 27-30 C. Maximum temperature 36-42 C. Southerly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 34-39 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 35-37 C. Northwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot to very hot with haze. Minimum temperature 29-30 C. Maximum temperature 36-40 C. Southerly winds 10-25 km/hr.
