During 28 May ? 2 Jun, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the heat low-pressure cell covers Gulf of Tonkin with thundershower are in the upper country with isolated heavy to very heavy rains in the Northeast and the East. The waves are 1 - 2 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers while about 1 meter high in the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf and above 2 meters in thundershowers. In addition, the tropical cyclone ?Remal? over southern Bangladesh, is expected to downgrade to the tropical depression and an active low-pressure cell, respectively. The typhoon ?Ewiniar? the east of Philippines is expected to move to the Pacific Ocean during 27?31 May. These storms are no direct effect on Thailand?s weather.
Caution
During 28 May ? 2 Jun, People should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transport takes more caution when traveling through the thundershowers areas. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
