The moderated strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and Thailand with thundershowers. The wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are moderated. The wave are 1-2 meters high, 1?2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas. At 01.00 a.m. LST (28 May), the tropical depression ?Remal? over Bangladesh is expected to be an active low-pressure cell. The typhoon ?Ewiniar? the northeast of Philippines is expected to move to the east of Japan during 30?31 May. Therea is no direct effect from these storms to Thailand?s weather.

Central
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Kanchanaburi, Samut Songkhram, Suphanburi and Nakhon Pathom. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 36-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 35-37 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat . Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C. Surat Thani upwards: Southwesterly winds 10?30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Southeasterly winds 10?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 36-37 C Ranong upward: southwesterly winds 15?35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Phangnga downward: southeasterly winds 15?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers.
