General Situation

The moderated southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the upper Gulf and Thailand. Meanwhile the low-pressure cell over the Gulf of Tonkin with isolated thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in the western of the North, the East and the Northeast. The wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are moderated. The wave are 1-2 meters high, 1?2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas. In addition The typhoon ?Ewiniar? the northeast of Philippines is expected to move to the east of Japan during 30?31 May. Therea is no direct effect from these storms to Thailand?s weather.

Northeastern
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 35-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Lopburi, Saraburi Nakhon Pathom and Samut Songkhram. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 36-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-29 C. Maximum temperature 35-37 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-38 C. Surat Thani upwards: Southwesterly winds 10?30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Southeasterly winds 10?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C Phangnga upward: southwesterly winds 15?35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Phuket downward: southeasterly winds 15?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers mostly in the afternoon to evening. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 35-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
