Weather Outlook During 29 May - 4 Jun 2024
During 30 May ? 4 Jun, the southwest monsoon prevailing across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen while the low-pressure cell over the Gulf of Tonkin and the central of South China Sea. More rain and isolated heavy rain are likely in the country with very heavy rains in some places of the Northeast, the East and the South (west coast). The waves are 1 - 2 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers while about 1 meter high in the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf and above 2 meters in thundershowers. In addition, The typhoon ?Ewiniar? on the East of the Taiwan Island is expected to move to the South of Japan during 30?31 May. These storms are no effect on Thailand?s weather.
Caution
People should beware of heavy rains to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transport takes more caution when traveling through the thundershowers areas. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
