General Situation

The moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Meanwhile the low-pressure cell cover the Gulf of Tonkin and Depression over the central of South China Sea. More rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are forecast in the Northeast, the Central, Bangkok and vinicity, the East and the South regions. People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transport takes more caution when traveling through the thundershowers areas.The wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are moderated. The wave are 1-2 meters high, and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas. In addition, the active low-pressure cell located at the South China Sea upgraded into Depression and expect to move to the Southern of China during 31 May ? 1 Jun 2024 and rapidly subside. Resulting isolated rain on upper part of Thailand. Meanwhile severe tropical storm ?Ewiniar over the South of Japan downgraded to Depression. This storm with no effect Thailand?s weather.

Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Roi Et, Maha Sarakham, Mukdahan, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 23-27C. Maximum temperature 32-37C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Lopburi, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi, Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram. Minimum temperature 25-28C. Maximum temperature 34-36C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-27C. Maximum temperature 32-36C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-27C. Maximum temperature 34-36C. Surat Thani upwards : Southwesterly winds 15?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Nakhon Si ThammaratNakhon downwards : Southwesterly winds 10?30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-26C. Maximum temperature 31-35C Krabi upwards : Southwesterly winds 15?35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Trang downwards : Southwesterly winds 15?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 25-27C. Maximum temperature 34-36C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
