General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the upper part of the North of Thailand and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the upper Andaman Sea and upper Thailand with isolated heavy rains in the North and the upper Northeast regions while isolated thundershowers in the South. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The moderate wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the upper Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas.

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Uttaradit, Tak, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Phanom and Mukdahan. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Samut Songkhram. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 15?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter, above 1 meter high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C Phangnga upwards: Southwesterly winds 15?35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Phuket downwards: Southwesterly winds 15?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
