General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across, the upper North and the upper Northeast of Thailand and Laos into the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Tonkin bay while the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the upper Andaman Sea and upper Thailand is strengthening with isolated heavy rains. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The strengthening wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the upper Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas.

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Uttaradit, Tak, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Phanom. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 31-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Nakhon Si Thammarat upward: southwesterly winds 15?35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Songkhla downward: southwesterly winds 15?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter, 1-2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phangnga and Phuket . Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C Krabi upwards: Southwesterly winds 20?35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and 2-3 meters high in thundershowers. Trang downwards: Southwesterly winds 15?35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 27-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
