During 10 - 11 June, the monsoon trough lies across, the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand and Laos into the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Tonkin bay while the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the upper Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening with more rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain. During 12 ? 16 June, the monsoon trough will move to lie across upper of the North and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Tonkin bay. The moderated southwest monsoon still prevail across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Thundershower with isolated heavy rains are forecasted in the country. The wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters high while in the upper gulf and the lower Andaman Sea are 1 ? 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
During 10 ? 11 June, people should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and runoff, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transport takes more caution when traveling through the thundershowers areas. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
